Karen of Welcome to our Crazy Blessed Life selected Brrrr-ownies on page 103 of Dorie Greenspan's "Baking: From My Home to Yours" for this week's baking assignment. Please visit her blog to find the recipe. I had some trouble with these guys! I think I underbaked them a bit and they stuck to the aluminum foil lining the pan like crazy. Eventually, I had to scrape them off the foil which resulted in a crumbly gooey minty mess, although I did manage to salvage a few for pictures! I stuffed the crumbly gooey minty mess into a ziploc bag and plan to make Crumbly Gooey Minty Mess Ice Cream in the next few days - watch for it!

Ice cream sounds good!
Even if they are crumbly, I bet they tasted good. Usually the things we make that fall apart are the best tasting! I had to cook mine a little longer than I was supposed to. I think yours look great.
Your fresh mint leaves really added to the photos! Mine didn't stick, I used non-stick foil (best stuff!), but they sure bubbled up and made a mess. I don't like what that did to the mint, even moreso today.

What a great idea. These would be great mixed into ice cream. Great save. I used parchment and that worked much better.
Your brownies look fabulous! I also had trouble with getting them off the foil. I only pictured the best ones! I'm going to make brownie ice cream with the few leftover brownies :-)
